You can take more responsibilty for your health and fitness by setting goals and sticking with them no matter what, and also actually taking care of yourself by taking your time to realize what you are consuming and how much of it you are consuming. Taking responsibility for your health and fitness also means that you should do daily exercises and keeping track of everything you do and eat.
What are goals?
Goals are anything that you desire to have or maybe even to change. They serve as a guide and helps you work toward whatever it is that you would like to achieve.
What is goal setting?
Goal setting is a process that you go through to help you improve yourself and also feel good about yourself. It helps you get motivated and stay motivated, but you have to be commited and willing to bring effort forward.
What is the difference between long-term goals and short-term goals?
Long-term goals are goals that take more than a month or maybe even a year to accomplish, for example, saving money to buy a car is a long-term goal. Short-term goals are goals that should not take more than a week or maybe a few days to do, for example, studying for a good test grade.
What are the steps necessary for successful goal setting?
In order to have successful goal setting you must have the desire, belief, able to analyze where you are now in physical terms, set realistic goals, write your goal in details, list the benefits you ill receive from the goal, identify obstacles, identify knowledge you need, make a plan of action, develop a timeline, monitor your progress, and most importantly NEVER give up!
