Physical fitness is an personal matter because it is about you. Physical fitness depends on how you feel and look at yourself, not how others see you , but how you are comfortable looking in your own skin. This means that you don't have to have a magazine or model body, you just have to be able to look in the mirror and say "That's what i like to see", or maybe " I look mighty good today". Physical fitness has alot to do with how you see yourself and what you want to do to help yourself get better in whatever area you think you can use improvement in. This is why physical fitness is not only an important matter but also a personal matter.
How do some people neglect their health by choosing not to participate in physical activity?
Some people neglect their health by not participating in physical activity because physical activity is important to live a happy and health life. By not participating in such activities you are not only neglecting your health but also yourself. You are especially neglecting yourself if you dont feel good about your body, this is because while engaging in physical activities you help yourself look better and feel better , maybe even act better. Now you may be thinking that physical activity deals with a hour long exercise, but no it does not , physical activity could deal in something as simple as cleaning your house or walking your dog.
